Reading- Unit 2 Week 3

Story Title- Who Works Here?

Genre- Expository Text

Amazing Words- citizen, law, earn, branch, patrol, community, leader, and headquarters

Spelling- We will still plan to test Friday. Start studying today!

Spelling Words- bike, dime, hide, ice, kite, like, ride, smile, time white, who, and work

Word Wall Words- live   who   out   work   people

Language- We will focus on special titles this week but will continue to review proper nouns, common nouns, verbs, adjectives, complete sentences, subjects and predicates of sentence, declarative sentences, interrogative sentences and exclamatory sentences.

Math Chapter 7- Greater than/Less than and Compare Numbers. We have talked a little about this in the past. The children know the alligator always eats the greater number. I tentatively plan to test Friday, January 17^th.
