Reading- Unit 2 Week 5 {Homework will go home Tuesday.}

Story Title- Life in the Forest

Genre- Fiction

Language- We will focus singular and plural nouns this week but will continue to review special titles, proper nouns, common nouns, verbs, adjectives, complete sentences, subjects and predicates of sentence, declarative sentences, interrogative sentences and exclamatory sentences.

Math Chapter 8- We will begin Chapter 8 Tuesday and I plan to test around February 6^th.

Spelling- We will still plan to test Friday. Start studying today!

Language- We will focus on special titles this week but will continue to review proper nouns, common nouns, verbs, adjectives, complete sentences, subjects and predicates of sentence, declarative sentences, interrogative sentences and exclamatory sentences.

Math Chapter 7- Greater than/Less than and Compare Numbers. We have talked a little about this in the past. The children know the alligator always eats the greater number. I tentatively plan to test Friday, January 17^th.
